Artist Biography

Based in the Netherlands, Afrorila is a DJ, producer, and storyteller who views every medium as a way to tell a story. Known for his versatility, he refuses to be boxed into a single genre or single form of expression, instead giving every project, whether an album or now a manga, its own unique identity. For Afrorila, creativity is a bridge between deep personal narratives and the energy that connects with an audience.

His work is a vibrant fusion of diverse influences, blending technical precision with raw, emotional storytelling. Each project tells a story, characterized by immersive soundscapes, rhythms, and now visuals that reflect his own life experiences. Afrorila invites his audience on a journey that is as much about the message as it is about the beat, or these days, the panel.

Manga has been part of that journey for as long as he can remember, but only recently did reading turn into creating. Afrorila taught himself to draw and write his own story, “Saving the Past,” proof that for him, every form of storytelling eventually finds its way onto the page, or into the mix.
